Merrimack is set to play Providence College and Northeastern University this upcoming weekend on Friday and Saturday. Both Providence and Northeastern are ranked in the top 20 teams in the country, with Providence sitting at 14 and Northeastern sitting at the 13 th spot in the current pairwise rankings. This seasons history against Providence: Merrimack lost the last two games against Providence College with the score of 7-2 at Merrimack on Friday, November 16 th and then fell to the friars again the following night November 17 th with the score of 7-5.
